Ebooks at Fordham Law School: Downloading from Ebook Central to a Device

Contact For Help

For help accessing ebook titles, please contact the law library reference desk refdesk@law.fordham.edu or 212-636-6908.

PDF versus EPUB?

When downloading an eBook, you will be prompted to choose either PDF or EPUB format.

Books downloaded in PDF format will retain the look and feel of the print book. Books downloaded in EPUB may be re-sized, which may be useful when reading on a tablet or phone.

Downloading an ebook to a Tablet, E-Reader, or Other Device

The simplest way to view an ebook from Fordham Law Library is through your browser, whether on your desktop computer, laptop computer, or other device. But titles may also be downloaded to many tablets and e-readers. When you download a ProQuest Ebook title, you will be prompted to select your device.

If your device or mobile phone is capable of supporting PDF and EPUB formats, you should be able to download an ebook. You must download Adobe Digital Editions and make an Adobe ID to download a book.
