If you are a Fordham Law faculty member and need assistance setting up an online journal alert using these or any other systems, please contact the Reference Desk (refdesk@law.fordham.edu or 212-636-6908), or your Faculty Liaison.
HeinOnline eTOC Alert sends an email message any time content in added to a particular journal in the HeinOnline Law Journal Library database. Please note that many journals in HeinOnline have an embargo period meaning their content does not appear in HeinOnline for up to a year. You can check your journal of interest in the Law Journal Library on HeinOnline to see whether there is an embargo period for that journal.
You will first need to create a MyHein account at this link. Then select the MyHein menu, and "Create an Account." Choose a username and password, and register using your @fordham.edu email (NOT @law.fordham.edu).
To create an eTOC Alert, log into your MyHein account. Then, browse to the journal title of interest in the Law Journal Library, which is at the top of the databases list on the Hein homepage.
Click in to the journal of interest, and then click on "Create eTOC Alert."
New HeinOnline content is frequently updated on the first of the month, so update emails are typically sent then.
You can review your alerts, and delete those you no longer want, by selecting "eTOC Alerts" from the MyHein dropdown menu at the top of the page.
