If you are a Fordham Law faculty member and need assistance setting up an online journal alert using these or any other systems, please contact the Reference Desk (refdesk@law.fordham.edu or 212-636-6908), or your Faculty Liaison.
ProQuest Publication Alerts allow you to set up automatic email notification when a new issue of a specific journal becomes available in a ProQuest database (like ProQuest Research Library or ABI/INFORM Complete).
In order to create Publication Alerts, you must be signed into your ProQuest My Research account. To sign in or create a new account, click the My Research icon, shaped like a person, in the top right of a ProQuest database like ProQuest Research Library. If you need a new account, click on Create My Research Account in the drop down menu. Create an account using your @fordham.edu email address (not @law.fordham.edu).
To set up the Publication Alert, go to the individual publication's page on any ProQuest database (make sure it's a publication for which Fordham has ProQuest access).
On the right side of the publication page, click the "Create Alert" icon, shaped like a bell.
Fill out the form, including your email message, and you should begin receiving Publication Alert emails when the next issue appears.
You can adjust your alerts at any time by clicking on the My Research link on the top of the page.
