Library Services for Journal Members: Responsibilities and Privileges

Responsibilities

Treat library staff with courtesy and respect no matter how tight your deadline.

Follow the rules of the library. Any exceptions are outlined in this guide.

Do not submit an interlibrary loan request unless you are the editor responsible for the article that requires the material (see Interlibrary Loan section for details) or the journal's designated ILL coordinator.

Overdue or book replacement fines are the personal responsibilitiy of the individual student who charged out the item. Students not willing to take full responsibility for charging out journal books should not charge them out.

Privileges

Library Liaison: Each journal has been assigned a library liaison. Your journal's liaison should be the first person you contact in the library if you have any questions about the library or that the library can answer. The library liaisons and their contact information are listed below.
